Helping create flourishing communities
A thriving, sustainable future for all Africa’s people, sourced from the blue and circular economy, is possible when we work together. We want to enable sustainable coastal communities to create well-functioning waste management systems that facilitate income-generating opportunities for themselves. We aim to work collaboratively with communities to both upskill and empower identified SMMEs and informal collectors in the recycling and waste sector, equipping local authorities to support sustainable waste management behaviour in their communities, supporting local businesses in the packaging value chain to reduce waste generation, and fostering changes in attitude and behaviour of all people for responsible consumption and a sustainable waste economy.
