Watch our Youth Waste Network Launch on SABC TV

Young people are upping the ante in the fight against plastic pollution in our oceans. The African Youth Waste Network has been launched in Nelson Mandela Bay. It was launched on 29 October, 2018, at Nelson Mandela University, and was attended by dignitaries including Acting Minister of Environmental Affairs Derek Hanekom and Norwegian Minister of Research and Higher Education Iselin Nybø. Watch her interview with SABC reporter Lerato Thipa below.
