Call for content developers (authors) for an Education Resource Book.

The Sustainable Seas Trust (SST) is developing an Education Resource Book to contribute to ‘Towards Zero Plastics to the Seas of Africa’. SST and its African Marine Waste Network are calling upon experts in the following topics:

  • the Circular Economy
  • the Recycling Industry
  • the effectiveness of legislation and policies in reducing plastic pollution
  • consumer behaviour and its role in plastic pollution
  • extended producer responsibility (EPR)

The experts will work with the SST Education Team in Port Elizabeth or can work remotely. The successful applicants must:

  • have an appropriate tertiary qualification (ideally Master’s degree or higher qualifications)
  • have excellent writing skills
  • understand the issues related to plastic pollution
  • be sensitive to cultural requirements in Africa so that the education resource book can be adapted to different groups on the continent and its island states
